The magazine was published (in German and English) from 1958 until the university was closed in 1968 and contains reports, curricula, staff news, essays, opinions, comments, etc. The HfG was founded by Inge Aicher-Scholl, Otl Aicher, Max Bill and others in 1953. The training focused on the design of industrially manufacturable products (today industrial and product design) and communication with the public.
