One of a unique collection of '4-letter-words' created by 72 AGI members who took part in the 1999 AGI congress in Pontresina, Switzerland.
(Biography) 'Studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Graduate of London College of Printing (1968). Since 1975, David has operated his own studio in Tel-Aviv, specialising in culture and politics. Tartakover is known for his self-produced posters dealing with the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. His work has won numerous prizes in Israel and abroad, among them are: gold medal, 8th Lahti Poster Biennial, Finland (1989), and Grand Prix, Moscow International Poster Biennial (2004). His works are included in the permanent collections of museums in Europe, Japan and the USA. He collects and researches the history of Israeli design and is also the curator of design exhibitions at museums in Israel and abroad. Among the books he has published is a lexicon of the 1950s in Israel, Where We Were, What We Did (Keter Publishing). Tartakover has had solo exhibitions in: Israel, Argentina, Belgium, China, France, Germany, Japan, Poland, Russia and the US. He is the Israel Prize laureate (2002).' (Source) a-g-i.org

Grade A: items are in excellent condition for their age. They are clean and display bright colour(s), show no sign of loss, and minimal creasing or other imperfections. Grade B: items are in good condition for their age. They are generally clean, yet may present minimal tears or loss, creasing folds and pin holes. Grade C: items are in poor condition for their age. They may suffer from soiling, fading or discolouration, in addition to more significant tears, loss, creasing.
