Avant Garde was an influential art and culture magazine published from January 1968 to July 1971 in New York City, edited by Ralph Ginzburg and designed by Herb Lubalin. Spanning 14 issues, it was known for its provocative content, innovative graphic design, and bold commentary on American society, politics, and culture. The magazine was the third collaboration between Ginzburg and Lubalin, following Eros (1962) and Fact (1964–1967).
