EK Type is a Mumbai-based collaborative type foundry specialising in high-quality, contemporary multi-script Indian typefaces.

• Baloo: A playful, affable, heavy spurless display typeface with rounded, bouncy forms and a warm, jovial personality. Ideal for headlines, posters, and branding. Available in multiple weights and many Indian scripts.
• Gotu: A refined, elegant typeface with distinctive typographic subtleties. It works beautifully for both display and longer text settings, offering a chic and sophisticated feel.
• Jaini / Jaini Purva: A calligraphic Devanagari typeface inspired by the historic Jain Kalpasutra manuscripts (based on a 1503 manuscript). It blends traditional manuscript aesthetics with contemporary usability.
• Mukta: A versatile, humanist, mono-linear sans-serif family in multiple weights. Clean, contemporary, and highly readable, designed for both text and display with excellent multi-script harmony (Devanagari, Gujarati, etc.).
• Sama: A straightforward, monolinear typeface with rounded terminals. It has a neutral yet friendly presence, making it suitable for a wide range of modern applications.
