(Cover letter/translation)

'Braun - A Public Presentation

The Frankfurt-based electrical company Braun AG, known for its design, has now also presented the philosophical foundations of its corporate concept to the public in four brochures.

The individual booklets, entitled "Company History", "Guidelines for Braun Communication", "Braun Design - The Realization of a Corporate Concept", and "Views on Design", are intended as concrete and factually oriented working aids. The interested reader learns in an easily understandable form the ideas underlying this concept and the preparatory work necessary to consistently implement it and achieve lasting success without changes.

The uncompromising application of a concept once developed and its flexibility in integrating all changes was undoubtedly one of the main reasons for Braun's success.

With this self-presentation, Braun AG simultaneously pointed out that communication with the public can also include the obligation to make the philosophical concept transparent as the basis of product policy.'
