(Publishers review) 'Müller-Brockmann's publication, first published in 1961, was intended to solve the problems of contemporary form-finding for the graphic artist and became a standard work that still serves as a historical guide far beyond the borders of Switzerland. In 1983 it was distributed worldwide in an abridged, paperback version - published simultaneously in the USA and Canada. The present book is now the unabridged reconstruction of the original from 1961, in a linen binding with a cover. The additions that Josef Müller-Brockmann himself made to the paperback version from 1983 were included.'
