(Preface) 'Before you are exposed to the real thing, before you sample the wares so to speak, a little word in your ear. The majority of the images and designs in this book have been produced in collaboration with colleagues; they are the fruit of several minds, formed by loose and changing liaisons, especially with graphic designers Peter Curzon and Jon Crossland, photographers Tony May and Rupert Truman, and storyboard artist Finlay Cowan. To these I extend my deep appreciation and affirm my enduring respect.
They are not, however, responsible nor would they want to be, for the views and opinions which are the sole responsibility (and psychosis) of your humble author. Nor are they responsible for any errors, omissions or critical comments. Whilst every care has been taken I apologise for those still overlooked, except of course where clearly intended.'
