Extract from accompanying leaflet: 'This edition, limited to one hundred and fifty prints. has been produced to mark the fortieth anniversary of the founding of G&B Arts ple. The Festival of Britain emblem, designed by Abram Games in 1948, was chosen by a panel of judges as the winning entry in a competition between twelve of Britain's leading designers. The edition has been screen printed by G&B Arts with the working co-operation of the designer and is reproduced from his original drawing and colour swatches. The triangular Sellotape marks on the corners and the drawing pin holes seen on the print are from the time the emblem was displayed for judging and have been left as part of the authentic reproduction of the surviving original. Each print, on Huntsman Velvet 200 gsm paper, has been signed, numbered and dated by Abram Games. The edition in this form will not be reprinted.'

Grade A: items are in excellent condition for their age. They are clean and display bright colour(s), show no sign of loss, and minimal creasing or other imperfections. Grade B: items are in good condition for their age. They are generally clean, yet may present minimal tears or loss, creasing folds and pin holes. Grade C: items are in poor condition for their age. They may suffer from soiling, fading or discolouration, in addition to more significant tears, loss, creasing.
