(About) 'Curated by Claire Catterall, Stealing Beauty brought together a group of designers from different disciplines, all of whom drew inspiration from the everyday.

The comb-bound catalogue facilitated the compilation of diverse images, each one familiar in itself but surprising when juxtaposed with the others. The cover image reproduced the detritus from the binding process. The role of the exhibition sponsor, Perrier Jouët, was acknowledged by including one of the champagne house’s own labels.

The exhibition’s theme was continued in an advertisement for the catalogue printer that depicted the old Fleet Street practice of decanting printing ink into ad hoc cartons formed from folded waste sheets.' Graphic Thought Facility
