(Preface) 'This book is primarily an account of the development of six trade-marks and beyond that of programmes for a corporate identity - or, better put: a corporate visibility. These six examples show the creative process, primarily in the visual sphere. The decisive criterion for collection and selection was: to deal with design as an expression of a state of mind, rather than something fashionable, stylistic or trendy, because "concepts follow persons" Therefore, this book is also an attempt to show the advantages that result from a consistent, flowing "personal style" when applied to a company's visual means.'
