About: 'The work Need Not Be Built', A discussion with Lawrence Weiner - By Adrian Shaughnessy. Signed copy. During the mid 2000's Howard Smith Paper initiated a series of lectures, all profiling the works of eminent artists and designers of the time; that include Paul Davis, Alexander Gelman, Paul Graham, Lawrence Weiner, Storm Thorgerson, Felice Varini, and Erik Kessels. Each of the seven lectures was supplemented by a limited edition hard back journal, which were profusely illustrated with the works of each speaker whilst promoting the Greencoat range of HSP paper stocks. With a foreword by Adrian Shaughnessy, this journal focuses on the works of Lawrence Weiner.
