About: Otto Treumann is a major pioneer in the modernisation of Dutch graphic design. Inspired by Swiss typography and Bauhaus aesthetics, Treumann's oeuvre combines easy-to-read visual elements with iconoclastic colour treatment, enhanced by his wide knowledge of printing techniques. This monograph on Otto Treumann is the first in the series 'Graphic design in the Netherlands' - a series that seeks to give a picture of developments in Dutch graphic design since 1945.
