Balance by Daniel Eatock – An exhibition in mono, 9 of 28 designs for Blanka 09/06

(About) Daniel Eatock (British, born 1975) is a graduate of Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication and the Royal College of Art. He worked as an intern at the Walker Art Centre in Minneapolis before establishing Foundation 33, a multidisciplinary practice that later merged with creative agency boymeetsgirl. He recently formed Eatock Ltd., an independent art and design studio where his inventive entrepreneurial approach to authorship and his adherence to the integrity of ideas are applied to commercial design work and contemporary art projects. His varied portfolio includes the creation of the world's largest signed and numbered limited edition artwork and the ongoing design and development of the Big Brother identity for Channel 4 television.

An Exhibition in Mono by Blanka was a graphic design exhibition held at the SEA Gallery in London from September 15–20, 2006. Organized by Blanka, it featured 28 leading European graphic design studios, each invited to create an A1 black-and-white poster. The brief focused on exploring the constraints and creative possibilities of monochrome design, emphasizing form, texture, and typography over color.

PLEASE NOTE: All the items we sell are out-of-print and original, and show signs of wear consistent with age. Posters in particular are delicate items that can easily suffer the effects of time and handling, so it is unusual to find vintage posters that are in pristine condition. The grading of posters has been kept as simple as possible. The condition of posters is ranked A to C, which include further sub-classifications of plus (+) and minus (-) in each case (e.g. A-, A, A+). Items are supplemented with a high-resolution image, and any specific/significant flaws highlighted. If in doubt, please contact me for further information.

Grade A: items are in excellent condition for their age. They are clean and display bright colour(s), show no sign of loss, and minimal creasing or other imperfections. Grade B: items are in good condition for their age. They are generally clean, yet may present minimal tears or loss, creasing folds and pin holes. Grade C: items are in poor condition for their age. They may suffer from soiling, fading or discolouration, in addition to more significant tears, loss, creasing.

Standard Postage: Provides 'limited cover' for loss/damage only up to £30GBP. Please select the alternative ‘full cover' option at checkout for more valuable items! Excess shipping charges will be reimbursed. Any import charges/taxes, if incurred, to be covered by the buyer.
