(Introduction/Translation) 'The Association of Swiss Graphic Designers, founded in 1938, exhibited at our building for the first time in 1943. Certainly, the significant and multifaceted collaboration on the "Landi" (Swiss National Exhibition) – the best graphic designers from all over Switzerland were working at full capacity in the founding year – was one of the reasons for this important association. Since then, the importance of the Swiss graphic designer has lost none of its value, nor has the international reputation of their work – or so we hope. From morning till night, each of us, wherever we live and whatever our profession, is surrounded by the creations of graphic designers. And for these reasons, the demands on the high quality of all graphically designed elements have steadily increased...'
