Book produced by a group of architects directly involved in the realisation of the National Exhibition of Lausanne in 1964. Illustrated with approx. 350 photographs, plans, sketches, etc. Dedication by Alberto Camenzind to the architect Jakob Zweifel. Alberto Camenzind was a Swiss architect and professor at ETH Zurich. He gained notoriety as chief architect of the Swiss National Exhibition Landi 64 (Expo 64). Jakob Zweifel was a Swiss architect. As the founder of the Theater an der Winkelwiese, he was a patron of the arts; he actively intervened in the debate about the spatial development of Switzerland and the protection of the built heritage. He is one of the most important representatives of post-war modernism in Switzerland and belonged to the Zurich group with Werner Frey, Franz Füeg and Jacques Schader.
