(Preface/translation) The culture of writing is just as old as culture in general, when primitive man tried to record what he wanted to preserve acquaintances for a while. Zpryu chose knots, notches, notches, then he wrote graphic pictorial signs for concepts and words, and finally by procedure letter, in which he recorded his thoughts. Different materials and different techniques writing style has a decisive influence on the character and type of writing. Otherwise he wrote ¿lovèk Assyrian for bricks, otherwise Egyptian for papyrus, otherwise Roman for waxed plates and finally other medieval pieces on parchment. Just medieval scribes brought the culture of writing to the highest perfection and made it stylish the artistic form, which today forms the basis, is the starting point. Letterpress pushed the scribal artist into the background, although our time has resurrected him old glory and assigned him a role just as important and valuable, like any other artistic expression. Good writing is just like that a good artist such as a painter or graphic artist; artistic font, its use and composition is such a valuable component of an artistic work like drawing and painting. The culture of writing has reached the highest artistic goals aesthetic beauty.
