Catalog of the exhibition held at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, 26 May - 25 June 1967. Catalog no. 418. (Introduction) 'In order to stimulate the practice of pale photography, the Municipality of Amsterdam has instituted a biennial incentive prize for professional photographers under 35 Saar with effect from 1965. The institution of this incentive prize and the associated exhibition will make it possible to regularly show what is present in the field of visual amenity among young Dutch photographers. 24 entries were received for the 1967 Incentive Prize. The jury, consisting of Messrs. Paul Huf, photographer, Aart Klein, photographer, and L. Kloet, Stedelijk Museum, made a selection from 10 entries, which is currently on display. The prize consists of an amount of five hundred guilders. In addition, the award-winning photographer, after consultation with him, is awarded a commission by the Municipality of Amsterdam, which will be honored with fifteen hundred guilders. The Stedelijk Museum will purchase the photos of the commission. The 1967 incentive prize was awarded to Neer Fred den Ouden in Amsterdam.'
