Jesús Rafael Soto was a Venezuelan op and kinetic artist, a sculptor and a painter. His works can be found in the collections of the main museums of the world, including Tate, Museum Ludwig, Centre Georges Pompidou, Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna and MoMA.

Numerous photographic illustrations, in black and in colour. A printed transparent film gives a glimpse of the first page. The combination of the two printed spirals is an optical effect. Two other transparencies (which are often missing) are included in the book and thus allow it to be animated.
