(Abstract) 'Heinz Waibl, born in Verona in 1931, from an early age had the opportunity to meet and spend time with the great masters and absorb their lessons. As a graphic designer, he was one of the most important figures in the field of 20th-century visual communication, developing an innovative and creative design language that is still remarkably relevant.

During his long career, Waibl had the opportunity to work with many illustrious designers through encounters of enduring importance with Sigfried Giedion, Max Bill, Bruno Munari, Max Huber, Massimo Vingelli, Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. His experience with Unimark International in the United States, followed by a period spent in Johannesburg, then made him the creator of important logotypes. Heinz Waibl is an honorary member of the ADI (Association for Industrial Design), a member of the AGI (Alliance Graphique Internationale) and has also served on the committee for the selection of graphic design projects for the Compasso d’Oro award…'
