Influential magazine Architectural Design was edited by Monica Pidgeon, British interior designer and architectural writer, from the mid-1940s to the 70s. During her tenure this radical journal brought the work of seminal architects to the attention of the wider architectural world. Under Pidgeon, Architectural Design featured well-known and little-known architects, showcased post-war reconstructive architecture, and promoted sustainable design.
