Graphic Systems International Ltd, commonly known as Graphic Systems or Rapitype, was a pioneering British graphic design and typography company founded in 1966 by former Letraset managers Gary Gillot and Bill Harman. Specialising in innovative dry-transfer lettering systems, it emerged as a key player in the 1970s pre-digital printing revolution, offering high-quality, photographic-based transfer sheets for headlines, display type, and artwork. The company catered to advertising agencies, publishers, and designers, providing an affordable alternative to traditional typesetting amid the offset printing boom.
