(Review) 'The beautifully produced little booklet in question is a good example of how useful the manuals of technical instruction which many manufacturing firms now issue to their employees sometimes prove to a different and rather wider body of readers. By setting forth the typographical and literate principles on which a high-class printing business has to be run Messrs Balding & Mansell have incidentally rendered authors, publishers, and sub-editors a real service, for the exposition conveys just that kind of practical information which all of them constantly need to refer to. In this case the principles adopted are almost unexceptionable.' Times Literary Supplement
