Catalog for a major retrospective exhibition of the groundbreaking graphic design collective Wild Plakken. The book offers an in-depth look at the group's innovative work in posters, print media, and visual activism from the 1970s to the early 1990s. It highlights their transition from analog craftsmanship to digital experimentation, emphasising politically charged designs that challenged conventions in graphic design.

Organized by De Balie (a prominent Amsterdam debate and arts center) and the Centraal Museum Utrecht, the exhibition ran from June 26 to August 22, 1993, in Utrecht, showcasing over 100 posters and installations. It marked a pivotal moment for Wild Plakken, founded in 1977 by Lies Ros, Frank Beekers, and Rob Schröder (later joined by others like Hanne Lijesen and Max Kisman). The collective was known for "wild pasting" (wild plakken)—guerrilla-style street art and affordable, reproducible designs that blended activism with aesthetics, often for left-leaning causes.
