The book showcases Barnbrook's creativity in many disciplines from film to graphic and font design, for which he is most famous. He has a broad spectrum of clients including David Bowie, Emigre, the Roppongi Hills Development and Mori Arts Center in Tokyo, all of whom have sought his singular graphic vision. Barnbrook Bible also features an in-depth analysis of his groundbreaking design for the Damien Hirst book I Want To Spend The Rest Of My Life, Everywhere, With Everyone, One To One, Always, Forever, Now, a unique collaboration between an artist and designer.

Also included in this book are his personal political projects, which demonstrate the passionate belief underlying all his work, that graphic design should be a catalyst for discussion and change. In pursuit of this he also collaborates regularly with the anti-corporate magazine Adbusters. His self initiated political pieces have been shown in the solo exhibitions, Buy Me Bomb Me at Rocket Gallery Tokyo in 2003, Tomorrow's Truth at the Seoul Arts Center in 2004, Friendly fire at the Ginza Graphic Gallery in Tokyo 2005 and the Design Museum in London in 2007.'
