(Text) 'Good graphics are never simply well conceived words and images. They must have in addition a kind of third dimension, a depth, an atmosphere. a mood which reaches out to stimulate, even charm, the perceptual senses. Those concerned with print understand this. The sensitive designer will always seek to make the most of the materials on which his work is to be reproduced.

He will exploit the crisp, white surface or, more often than not, select a coloured stock which more positively intensifies the whole meaning of the graphics with a visual stimulus and a strong tactile appeal. Here, in this example of a coloured stock s potential, a designer selected one simple, discreet colour from the four exciting ranges of Strathmore papers to create a pensive context for his graphics; a mood is set, a response evoked.'
