Announcement for the first public exhibition of Piet Zwart's work in England, held in the entrance hall at Lund Humphries' premises in London from 1 to 15 May 1963. Simultaneously in the main exhibition room, "Typography in Britain today" — a group exhibition where 37 leading British typographical designers (listed in the text, including names like Alan Fletcher, Colin Forbes, Bob Gill, Ken Garland, Jock Kinneir and Margaret Calvert, Derek Birdsall, Germano Facetti, etc.) each selected and arranged their most interesting recent work on standard panels. Typographica 7 includes 16 pages of reproductions (many in colour) from this exhibition. Following these (from 16 to 30 May 1963), the space hosts an exhibition of work by four young British photographers: Roger Mayne, Peter Boyce, Jane Gate, and Euan Duff. The mailer describes their approaches (event recording, personal impressions, montage storytelling, thematic sequences in a school setting) and notes that Typographica 7 features an article by Euan Duff with photos from all four, plus special inserts.
