Mike McInnerney (front cover and pages 14-19) Born in Liverpool in 1944. Educated at East Ham secondary modern, then at the London School of Printing. Art directed first twelve issues of the International Times, and then worked in commercial graphics. Now painting for himself.

Richard Milet & Charles Serruya (inside cover) Both born in Paris in 1947 and 1950. They work as a team on their pictures and are very influenced by American graphics. They live and work in Paris.

Howard Pemberton (pages 28-33) Born in Maltby, 1950. Educated at Maltby Grammar School, then at Rotherham School of Art and Crafts, Coventry College of Art, and now doing a postgraduate course in graphics at Birmingham College of Art. The works in The Image were done in his sparetime.

Anthony Destefano (pages 34-39) Born in New York city, 1946. Educated at Ithaca College and Michigan State University studied film-making and journalism. September, 1969 was drafted into the army and now working as a freelance photographer in London.
