(Preface) 'This book is a record of unedited informal interviews by me of staff in the Graphic Design department of the RCA. They were all done during the Autumn term of the '73 - '74 academic year, except Harry; his was some time during February. It is for the students and staff of our department, and hopefully it will help us to understand some of the problems that exist in the running and orientation of the department.
