(Foreword) 'Twenty years ago, in a converted broom closet high above the Thames, a small experiment in communications was launched. With a pair of Macs, a tiny team and a couple of mandates from eager clients in search of new creative solutions, Wink launched as an editorially driven agency sitting within one of the world's biggest media companies.

An illustrated print campaign for a major global sports brand led to the development of a magazine for a London department store and swiftly moved to packaging, identity and advertising projects for clients around the world. Four years on we followed our independent streak, bought the business, established offices in Zürich and New York and embarked on the rebrand of one of the world's most iconic airlines.

Having developed a client base that spans a variety of diverse sectors, we have also become home to some of the most talented designers, writers, strategists and client managers in the industry. While our reach has extended to Asia and we're considerably larger, our focus is unchanged - we're committed to challenging our clients and their customers by creating sharp narratives and enduring design concepts.

As we move into our third decade of business, this volume serves as both a marker for some of the projects and collaborations we're most proud of and a thank-you to all the clients, partners, colleagues and contributors who've allowed us to grow, learn and be constantly curious.'
