(Introduction) 'Michael Johnson is a loose cannon. suspect that when he embarks on a project he's never quite sure in which direction he will end up pointing. I'm not sure whether this characteristic, which, hasten to add, has its own unpredictable charm, is the legacy of his social background, of his personal inclination or of genetic disposition. It could, of course, equally signify he doesn't know what he's doing or that I haven't figured out how he goes about things.
I suspect he received a good education although information on early life is kept private. This impression is based on his articulate and knowledgeable personality and, dare I say it, good manners. I did read somewhere that he graduated in Marketing and Visual Art from a university in Lancaster. Or maybe it was the University of Lancaster. That's in the north of England.
