Organised as a pioneering design presentation, the 1956 "Buitenlandse industriële vorm" (Foreign Industrial Design) exhibition at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam explored the functional elegance and mass production of mid-century international manufacturing. Running from January 14 to March 3, this forward-looking showcase gathered award-winning daily household wares, glassware, and consumer products from across Europe and America to promote high-quality design principles to the Dutch public. The accompanying promotional materials were designed by acclaimed Dutch graphic designer and educator Charles Jongejans.

They may suffer from soiling, fading or discolouration, in addition to more significant tears, loss, creasing.
