The New GF Smith Paper Selector was a redesigned paper-sampling system created by SEA Design for GF Smith. It replaced the company’s previous selector with a more intuitive, colour-led format, making it easier for designers to navigate the extensive range of papers available. The selector was housed in a distinctive one-piece clamshell box and contained four swatch books covering Colourplan, Smooths, Textures and Specials. Rather than separating papers primarily by collection, the samples were organised by colour, supported by a numbered reference system. Its distinctive Factory Yellow, Pale Grey and silver-grey identity gave the selector a strong visual presence while retaining its practical purpose as a working tool for designers and printers.
