Scottgraph,® a special process that simulates gravure printing, is one of the many efforts we have made to provide the ultimate in sheet fed printing.' (Introduction) 'We designed this book to show the wide range of colors that can be produced using process ink tint combinations. Almost 5,000 two- and three-color combinations are shown on these pages. Some colors cannot be matched using process ink tints, particularly some deep reds, pastels and reflex blues. For these colors, or wherever a critical color match is required, we recommend the use of specially matched inks. Our six-color equipment is ideal for this purpose. In this second edition of the S. D. Scott Process Color Guide we have added a new section reproducing all of the tint combinations on uncoated paper.'
