(Introduction) In November 1993, after eight years as the director of the Museum Boijmans-van Beuningen, Wim Crouwel is retiring, which means he will be saying goodbye to Hamish Muir and Mark Holt, his designers. To mark the occasion, this publication is intended to accompany 'Design: 8vo, London' featuring the work for the Boymans and to show what the group is doing for the museum, and why.
