(Introduction) 'The sign system used by the Authority is explained in two complementary volumes: The Sign Guide, which shows how to plan installations, and the Sign Manual, which describes the modules and method of layout. No deviation from these is necessary. The dimensioning unit used is the height of the lower case "×; referred to simply as x. Temporary and barrier signs are detailed in the Ancillary Furniture Manual.'

Condition: Good. All titles are used and show shelf ware consistent with age. Rubbing and creasing to binder cover, few broken teeth on comb-binding. Some signs of foxing and tanning on interior pages, few small items cut-out on 'Doors signs' page and ‘Colours’ divider, small pencil/ink inscription to ‘Colours’ page.
